Marni for H&M, spring collection!
Consuelo Castiglioni is the founder and designer of the Italian label, Marni.
The spring collection by Marni is available on March 8th, in stores and online.

"I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints," Castiglioni said. "As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements."


There will be menswear and womenswear, made with all the elements that the Marni mainline has become famous for, from vivid colours to all-over prints. Highlights from the women's collection will include full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits, in fabrics range from silk to crisp cotton.


"We all love the collection here at H&M and we believe that our customers will too," H&M's Margareta van den Bosch said. "Marni has such a modern touch with everything they do, mixing prints and accessories in a playful but chic way. It's fantastic to see how Consuelo Castiglioni coordinates her designs, matching new combinations of print and colour, with such incredible craftsmanship behind every piece. The collection will arrive in stores at just the perfect time, as a lovely statement for spring."

Tom Ford for H&M?

Margareta van den Bosch, H&M’s Creative Advisor and the woman responsible for ushering in the era of high street designer collaborations, is—like-everyone-else—obsessed with Tom Ford.

Though the Versace for H&M collection doesn’t even hit stores until last weekend, van den Bosch has already told Business Week that they’d love to make Ford their next luxury collaborator.  Ford is “a very interesting name,” she said.  “I can say, I wouldn’t mind.”

I guess no one would mind, except for Ford. The designer’s only just begun to build his own post-Gucci empire, launching his women’s collection and then cosmetics.  Unlike Versace or Lanvin he doesn’t have archives to pull from, or even a signature aesthetic (other than sexy).  No one from team Ford will comment, and van den Bosch says they’ve yet to speak with the designer.

Versace for H&M

What did you bought?


First I thought that it was a good idea to sleep for the H&M store in Amsterdam, but it was sooo cold outside! So I ordered my Versace for H&M items online.

 It takes me hours to get on the site, because the site was over crowded(!), too bad! My sister gets (finally) on the site, so she ordered a bracelet for me, so sweet! Our laptops stood next to each other so I could see everything, I was so thrilled to see the collection online! After a few minutes I ordered an other bracelet online, I'm so pleased with my purchases!


Eerst dacht ik dat het een goed idee was om voor de H&M winkel in Amsterdam te gaan slapen, maar het was zo koud! Daarom heb ik mijn H&M aankopen online gekocht.
Het duurde uren voordat ik eindelijk op de site kon, het was zo druk bezocht.
(Je stond in een wachtrij, om de zoveel minuten werd je toegelaten. Als je dan iets gekocht had moest je weer in de rij aansluiten, zo ging het de hele tijd door). Mijn zus en ik hadden onze laptops naast elkaar gezet, zodat we twee keer zoveel kans hadden om op de site te komen. Na een paar minuten lukte het haar, ik was zo blij! Ze heeft een armbandje voor mij besteld, na een paar minuten kon ik er zelf ook een bestellen. Ik ben zo blij met mijn aankopen!
